Wellness exams give us a chance to not only evaluate the overall health of your pet but also help us establish a baseline for their own unique bodies and tendencies. This can help us to identify any potential health problems at an early stage.
During wellness checks, your pet will be thoroughly examined by a veterinarian so we can record all vital information to create a complete medical history. This is also the time to screen for and discuss the importance of internal parasite control, flea and tick prevention, vaccinations, microchip or any other care specific to your pet for its best health. Preventive care starts at a young age with their first visit to the vet, however, it is never too late to start. We also try to make these visits fun for your pet so they can be more comfortable while at the hospital. This makes future visits easier for them and you.
