Dr. Kent Thomazin

Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Kent Thomazin is a 1991 graduate of Kansas State University. Growing up in rural Nebraska, he was inspired by his father, a veterinarian, and knew from an early age that he wanted to follow the same path. After moving to the Seattle area, he has been practicing small animal medicine since 1993 and founded Salish Veterinary Hospital in 2016.

Dr. Thomazin has a strong interest in surgery, particularly orthopedics, but enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. He has three daughters—Kassie, Katie, and Klara—who are all currently in college, and two cats, Larry and Wilder, who rule his home.

In his free time, Dr. Thomazin enjoys restoring classic cars, riding his motorcycle, golfing, hunting, fishing, and trying to keep up with his daughters.
